I’m trying to make a list of the best Pesach songs. Surprisingly enough there aren’t very many Pesach specific songs. Here is what I have gathered so far, please add more in the comments section. This list is not in any particular order.
- Let My People Go from MBD’s Let My People Go
- Galus Metzrayim from MBD’s Let My People Go
- The Pesach Blues from Journeys III (A great Moshe Yess song.)
- Chop Em Down from Matisyahu’s Shake Off the Dust … Arise.
- Dayeinu from Shmuel Kunda’s Boruch Learns About Pesach
- Dayeinu from Miami Boys Choir’s Miami Experience 4: Shiru Lo
- Avadim from Miami Boys Choir’s Miami Experience 4: Shiru Lo
- Pharoh in Pajama’s (Not sure where it’s from)
- Chasal Seder Pesach from Lev V’Nefesh 1 (Abie Rotenberg)
- Ma Nishtana from Yossi and Yerachmiel’s Time and Place.
- Seder Too from Shlock Rock III
- The Four Questionables from Shlock Rock Greatest Hits.
- Into The Sea from Sgt Shlockers Magical History Tour.
Obviously I must be missing a lot of good songs. Please help me complete this list. Add your suggestions to the comments section.

the miami experience 4 has a whole pesach section, nice songs.
avraham fried has a great hashata.
Pesach In The Getto- Vhavienu 1
Betsais Ysrael- Tzlil V’Zemer Boys Choir Vol. 5
Hashata – Avraham Fried
avraham fried -on around the year 2 (i think) there is a medley
one of the purim fevers has a kadesh urchatz….
I think the Shira Chadasha Boys Choir has a great song for Pesach called Lo Al Ydai Maloch on thir album. How about Lipa Schmeltzer’s Adir Bimluchoh on L’ailoh Ul’ailoh and what about some songs from Shir Hashirim? I hope these are enough for your pesach list. Great Shows!!!
This may sound funny, but one of may all time Pesach favorites is from Yanky and the Pesach Seder, a kids Pesach tape. The song is- “All the Nations of the world…” (I’m not sure if that’s the actual title of the song, but it’s how it starts.
Also, this isn’t specifically about Pesach, but it’s about us in Golus- We Will Rise, from JEP 5.
Also- I’m not sure which Miami album it’s from, (Maybe Miami meets Toronto) but “Boruch Hashem” (asher hitzil eschem miyad mitzrayim…)
There’s an old “Bitzais Yisroel” song that I think may be from London School of Jewish song.
the Boruch Hashem song is from “Miami Live”.
B”H
I would also liek to see Avraham Fried’s Hashata .
Btw, when is the next podcast coming out, can’t wait for it….
Cya!
I couldn’t find any Bitzais Yisroel from London, so it’s probably the same Tzlil Vizemer one Yossi mentioned previously.
btw the BInah magazine gave out a pesach selection album, all aderet songs. Theyre from yaanky & pesach, a singable seder, der voiler velvel, r’ fishel shacher, NY School of Jewish song, HASC|, and Chaim banet.
How about The Seder Started by Shlock Rock from Rejewvinated?
it features Etan G. the jewish rapper
Lo Es Avoseinu Bilvad by the Diaspora Yeshivah Band (I’m a huge fan)
goodbye golus not directly connected
Paroh in Pajamas was composed by the son in law of the Netzi”v, who was also the father in law of R’ Chaim Brisker. The original words of the song were “Boruch Elokienu shebranu lichvodo…V’chayeh olam notah bisocheinu” there is also a high part in the original song
