Talking About Shloime Gertner’s New CD

We first heard about Shloime about 6 months ago and we’ve watched the buzz grow stronger and stronger as the time has passed by. The moment we heard the songs we right away fell in love with this album. It’s rare that everyone in our office will agree on one CD.

We always say in the office that for a CD to do well you need three things.

1. Quality songs
2. Mazal
3. Tons of buzz, people have to know who you are. Otherwise it’s just another CD on a shelf crowded with a lot of other CD’s.

This is how it was with Dovid Gabay’s CD. For months people were asking for his CD. Everyone kept asking, “Have you heard of this Gabay guy?, When’s his CD coming out?” We had people asking this question up to a full year before it actual came out.

It’s nice to see people excited about a new singer. We are seeing the same buzz associated with Shloime’s CD as we saw with Dovid’s CD. We’re all excited about this new CD and I think that people will feel very satisfied with the product we are selling.

There are 13 SOLID songs on this CD. There are some really leibedik songs and some very emotionally charged slow songs. Including Kodesh, which is a song about Shloime’s daughter Malka who is disabled. The song is really beautiful and I think because of the story behind the song and the powerful music and of course Shloime’s voice, that this is going to be one of the hits of this CD.

KZ Creative did the design work and I think it’s very modern and the inside booklet has a very soft easy look complete with nice behind the scenes pictures.
